A miscreant has cut off the nose of a 15-year-old minor girl while she was sleeping on the verandah of her house in Vaishali. When she started screaming after her nose was cut, the people of the house woke up, but by then all the miscreants fled from the spot. The incident took place in ward number six of Hasanpur Osti village of Mahua police station area. After the incident, the injured girl was admitted to the sub-divisional hospital of Mahua for treatment, where the doctors referred her to Sadar Hospital Hajipur for better treatment. Doctors say that considering the critical condition of the minor, he has been referred to Patna PMCH. To ensure that the identity of the victim is not revealed, we will keep the name of the girl and her father confidential.

Regarding the incident, local people say that the victim was sleeping on the verandah of the house along with her three other sisters and grandfather. Then at around 11:00 pm, four miscreants reached there, opened the grill of the door, entered inside, cut off his nose and ran away. The family members informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
The village boys had threatened to cut off the nose
Regarding the incident, the victim’s father said that his daughter had gone to the mango orchard near the house two days ago to fetch mangoes. Then three youths made a video of my daughter. When my daughter came to know about this, she immediately returned home from there. Although those boys tried to stop it, my daughter did not stop there. Then the youth who made the video had also threatened to cut off his nose if he did not get it. Late last night on the 25th, when everyone was sleeping in the house, four youths came and cut off his nose.
